v1.0.1+ crashing on Linux #10

Hi! This was mentioned over on the Nexus, but I figured it deserved a proper issue report.

Any version higher than 1.0.0 will crash Skyrim on startup on Linux and Proton. I'm not 100% sure how SKSE works, but it seems like NET Framework's crash logger doesn't catch the crash in time, so I haven't been able to get a log, sorry.

If you know of any concrete ways of getting a log, I'd be more than happy to chase it up!

Can confirm this. Oddly, this specific mod has been one of the biggest hurdles in getting a number of modlists running under Linux/on SteamDeck, and I haven't been able to pin down any details at all, either.

Happy to help track this one down to a solution in any way I can!

Can confirm this bug on linux with latest Proton-GE or Wine-GE or Wine 8.1

I just discovered the other day, a modlist with v1.0.3 in it didn't crash. Haven't had time to check if it actually works in terms of working around the face discoloration, but at least it didn't crash before menu.

Were you using 1.0.3?
