Recently, we noticed that the edition of the profiles of our sales assistants started to fail massively.
We found that our automation processes were failing because LinkedIn changed the list of industries by a new one that is more NAICS friendly.
This is the old-traditional list of industries that LinkedIn is still using for searching on Sales Navigator: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/linkedin/shared/references/reference-tables/industry-codes
This is the new list of industries that LinkedIn is requiring now for profiles edition: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/linkedin/shared/references/reference-tables/industry-codes-v2-naics
By now, we are releasing a temporal solution: every new account edited will choose one valid industry from the new NAICS list, randomly.
So, the industry in the profile of the saeles assistants will not mach with the configuration in the ConnetionSphere dashbord.
The long term solution is in process of analysis and it will be detailed here soon.
I attach the table of NAICS in XLS format.
