FAILED: ParseException line 1:7 'CREATE' 'REMOTE' 'TABLE' in ddl statement #98

USING Waggle Dance 2.3.7 rpm

Connected to waggle dance

hive --hiveconf hive.metastore.uris=thrift://localhost:48869. Doesn't Like Create REMOTE table statement itself. Did anyone faced similar issue .

Remote tables isn't currently a feature of Hive, my guess is that you found this from a proposal for this feature.
