# Overview

After importing your company cards via commercial card feed, direct bank feed, or CSV import, the next step is to configure the cards’ settings.

As a Domain Admin, access the company card settings by navigating to **Settings > Domains > Domain Name > Company Card > Settings**. If you cannot access Domains, request Domain Admin access from the current Domain Admin.

# How to Configure Company Card Settings

1. **Access Settings**
   - Navigate to **Settings > Domains > [Domain name] > Settings**.

2. **Reimbursable Preference**
   - **Force Yes**: All expenses are reimbursable and cannot be changed by employees.
   - **Force No**: All expenses are non-reimbursable and cannot be changed by employees.
   - **Do Not Force**: Expenses default to either reimbursable or non-reimbursable, but employees can adjust if necessary.

3. **Liability Type**
   - **Corporate Liability**: Users cannot delete company card expenses.
   - **Personal Liability**: Users can delete company card expenses.

4. **Preferred Policy**
   - Set a preferred policy for the company card feed to ensure transactions are added to a specific policy report.

# Scheduled Submit with Company Cards

Scheduled Submit automatically handles expense report creation and submission. To enable:

1. Go to **Settings > Policies > Group > Policy Name > Reports > Scheduled Submit**.
2. Toggle **Scheduled Submit** to enable.
3. Choose your desired frequency.

# Connect Company Cards to an Accounting Integration

For connected accounting systems (NetSuite, Xero, Intacct, QuickBooks), follow these steps:

1. Go to **Settings > Domains > Domain Name > Company Cards**.
2. Click **Edit Exports** and select the desired GL account for exporting expenses.

# Export Company Card Expenses

## Pooled GL Account

1. Go to **Settings > Policies > Group > Policy Name > Connections > Accounting Integrations > Configure**.
2. Select **Credit Card / Charge Card / Bank Transaction** as the non-reimbursable export option.
3. Choose the vendor/liability account for exporting expenses.

## Individual GL Account

1. Go to **Settings > Domains > Domain Name > Company Cards**.
2. Click the **Export Settings** cog and select the desired GL account for exporting expenses.

# Additional Information

- **Identifying Transactions**: Transactions appear on the user’s Expenses page with a locked card icon for company card expenses.
- **Importing Historical Transactions**: Expensify imports 30-90 days of historical transactions. For older transactions, use CSV import.
- **eReceipts**: Digital substitutes for paper receipts, generated automatically for transactions under $75 (USD).

### Requirements

- **Subscription Plan**: Group Policy (Collect or Control plan only).
- **Transaction Import Timeframe**: Transactions import once posted to the bank, usually 1-3 business days.
