mWeb - Predictive text feature avoids editing a message #49815

Version Number: 9.0.40 Reproducible in staging?: Y Reproducible in production?: Y If this was caught during regression testing, add the test name, ID and link from TestRail: https://expensify.testrail.io/index.php?/tests/view/5007338 Issue reported by: Applause - Internal Team

Action Performed:

  1. Navigate to any conversation
  2. Send any message
  3. Edit the sent message by adding a word or deleting characters
  4. Tap the Check button

Expected Result:

The changes are saved and the edited message is displayed correctly in the conversation

Actual Result:

If a word is still underlined when I tap the Check button, the changes are not saved Only changes on words that are not underlined are saved, whether I delete characters or add a word

@VictoriaExpensify FYI I haven't added the External label as I wasn't 100% sure about this issue. Please take a look and add the label if you agree it's a bug and can be handled by external contributors
