Version Number: 9.0.62-0 Reproducible in staging?: Y Reproducible in production?: Y Issue was found when executing this PR: https://github.com/Expensify/App/pull/46052 Email or phone of affected tester (no customers): nathanmulugetatesting+2078@gmail.com Issue reported by: Applause Internal Team

Action Performed:

  1. Navigate to staging.new.expensify.com
  2. Create a group chat
  3. Invite a non existent account into the group
  4. As the invitee open email and wait for an invitation

Expected Result:

Invitation email is received

Actual Result:

No invitation email is received

Workaround:

I think it is likely a backend issue, and it was known before merging (here more context). @deetergp are you going to investigate this?

Switching to internal. If this does end up being front end, let me know and we can switch back to external.
