As suggested in title, it would be very useful to get the ability to operate Hardware (SunSDR etc) and Software (ExpertSDR3) in different IP ranges. So there is beside the current possibility of self-detecting devices the need for manual administration of IP for remote devices.
The reasons are twice:
Some networks have strict security limitations, there must be a separation of hardware devices and clients in different ip ranges.
Remote operation would be possible without the need for cloud@eesdr.
