Exclude from index but keep in project #7

I don't know if is it possible but I think best solution for this proposal would be keep files, which are ignored by git, in project (these would be accessible via file browser on left side) but remove them from index (would not be accessible via GoToFile palette). Does it make sense to you?

By the GoToFile pallette, do you mean what sublime calls "Go To Anything", the menu that comes up when you press CTRL+P (CMD+P on Mac)? If so, this is a duplicate of https://github.com/ExplodingCabbage/sublime-gitignorer/issues/6, but I'll let you confirm that I haven't misunderstood you - I don't think I've heard of "GoToFile" in Sublime before so it's possible I'm misunderstanding.

I am sorry for misunderstanding. I thought "Go To Anything" :) Thank you.
