Two unexpected changes in cam-pipeline-2022oct18 #80

I've been testing cam-pipeline-2022oct18, and found two unexpected changes:

[ ] examples/simple.json is timing out (https://github.com/ExposuresProvider/cam-kp-api/blob/ce170b9406bb83bc2fca6070e1bec5d676e77f2d/src/it/resources/examples/simple.json)
[ ] examples/things-related-to-valproic-acid.json returns zero results (https://github.com/ExposuresProvider/cam-kp-api/blob/ce170b9406bb83bc2fca6070e1bec5d676e77f2d/src/it/resources/examples/things-related-to-valproic-acid.json)

This is concerning, especially since valproic acid is from CTDbase, so it's possible there's a problem in the loading code.
