Messages sent with invalid S/MIME certificate? #683

we recently noticed that mails sent via your add-on are sometimes sent with an invalid S/MIME certificate. Mails that are sent immediately are correct and apparently all mails that are sent on a scheduled basis within 60 minutes are also correct.

Only if the period is greater than 60 minutes the mails contain an invalid S/MIME certificate.

The user who reported this says:

Thunderbird 115.8.0 (64-Bit)
send-later 10.3.6
Windows 10 Education 22H2 Version 10.0.19045.4046

Not sure if any of this is relevant, need to investigate further.
