[X] I have confirmed that I'm running the current version and the problem persists there (note the version number in fine print next to the add-on name on addons.thunderbird.net and compare it to the version number listed in the add-on details opened from the Add-ons page in Thunderbird; if you've got an old version, click the gear icon and select "Check for Updates").
[X] If I'm having an issue with date-parsing confusion, I've read the section about that in the user guide and I still think this is something different.
The FAQ currently claims that when you have both Owl and regular SMTP/IMAP accounts set up in Thunderbird, if you try to send via SL it will likely fail because the configured SMTP server won't accept the email address from a different account.
I had two messages queued this morning, when I checked later I discovered that SL had sent emails to my students FROM MY PERSONAL ACCOUNT instead. This is completely unacceptable behaviour!
Requiring an SMTP server is one thing (an option that I don't have with my work email), but silently switching to a different account is inexcusable. A note buried in your 18,000 word FAQ is not good enough.
