I can understand why, I'm guessing the code runs to search for new recipes after anything new is crafted and added to storage, but if you could delay that for half a second or so, which is refreshed when something is crafted again, it'll create a situation where there isn't anything updating while constantly crafting the same thing like holding down the button to craft a bunch of iron bars instead of having to constantly click.
Similarly, it lags somewhat when using the search bar. If there's a way to instantly clear the search bar, that would definitely help so it doesn't look for "iron" then "iro" then "ir" then "i" and taking up processing power it doesn't need to. Or to delay the search by a half second everytime a change occured to to the search bar that refreshes when another change happens.
