Clicking the "End Conversation" Button Does Not Disconnect Both Strangers Consistently #19

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start the application.
2. Start a conversation.
3. End the conversation by clicking on the "End Conversation" button.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect both strangers to be disconnected. Indeed, the application behaves as
if both strangers have been disconnected. However, I see in the logs that both
strangers are still connected and conversing with each other.

I had forgotten to implement the end conversation function in the new
controller architecture.
