I LIKE IT ! I will create a branch for that project .
JonJamConcept branch is here : https://github.com/Ezeer/JomTobo/tree/JonJamConcept @jonjamcam you could edit the readme in that branch to explain your ideas , put some pictures , a mini-doc ? you can do it from here , same as edit a comment ....but be sure to edit the right README , and so to be in the right branch .
My own branch! So I work in my own Qt and this does not interfere with the whole project?
Yes ! I'll teach to you how to proceed . Same way like we did for jamtaba->configurator , but for Jomtobo this time.
My first goal will be to try to rearrange the interface as I did in the picture. I know It's a big goal!
Yes , but i have the same ! Remember.... and
ah ah ah ... four hands and two brains , we are a new kind of specie . lol
She's really QT!
ah ah ah .... good sight Jon !
My imagination was flying thinking of a more intuitive way to set the already existing controls in the jam room.
1.- Master volume that controls the whole mix at the right (as in most analog consoles). An argument for this is that the metro and that master are both local controls.
2.- "My control" separated, but in the same alignment than the other musicians tracks.
3.- Most analog consoles have the insert (in this case VST rack) and input at the top. That way there's a logical visual flow of the signal: IN->INSERT->pan->vol->transmit. Also the flow inside the vst rack is correct now too (from top to bottom).
What do you think?
EDIT: oops forgot transmit....put it where you like :D
