There are several improvements that need to be made, but I'm submitting the PR now so testing can begin.

@YankiBaras I see this PR still included many changes which are not a part of the PR issues. Please create a fresh branch from future_ride and cherry pick only the commits related to the PR issues and then create a new PR from the new branch.
