So the issue is not in importing but when attempting to create an iApp instance from the template correct?
If so i would suggest attempting to create and look at /var/tmp/scriptd.out to see if anything jumps out. Also, what role are you using to create the iapp service? admin?
Also, what version is the BIG-IP and was it originally created via one of the CFT templates?
If that fails to surface any immediate gotchas i would suggest opening a case with F5 support and providing the ID here so there is a secure mechanism to provide logs and troubleshoot further.
Thanks for your reply. No, I already have an F5 instance. After logging in to the console, you can download "f5.cloud_logger.v1.0.0" from the site and import it properly. However, an error appears when registering "f5.cloud_logger.v1.0.0". The F5 instance was created manually from AMI, and CloudFormation is not used. Version of AMI is "F5 Networks BIGIP-14.0.0.1-0.0.2 PAYG - Good 25Mbps"
Ah, could be related to the version of BIG-IP. This iApp has not been explicitly tested on v14.x yet.
Will need to test this internally and determine if that results in a repro of what you are seeing.
ID 663 created internally to track investigating and fixing this
Same here developing for future release we need support of this on v14
Has there been any progress on this issue?
Note: Please look at Telemetry Streaming as an alternative as it provides all the same functionality + more!

Hi, If you download the application "f5.cloud_logger.v1.0.0" separately, import it, and try to add it, you get this error. It does not come out when creating the whole in CF. However, since F5 instance already exists, I would like to respond by downloading individual applications. Is there any workaround? 0107134a:3: File object by name (cloudwatch_send_vs_cert.key) is missing.
