What's this change do?

Update the travis-ci config to:

use the latest containthedocs image
deploy to staging site from master
deploy to production site from v1 branch

Where should the reviewer start?

Any background context?

Once this is merged, you can either cherry-pick the merge commit to the release branch (in a local git environment) and open a PR from that branch in your fork into the one in this repo --OR-- just merge master into the release branch.
