It would be great if there was a JSON blob that identifies and provides an example of all of the fields that can be taken advantage of using the startup script.

Greg had posted a case, C2475344, where he required some additional customization to the patch procedure above and beyond the defaults. Since we do have multiple options available in the patch-image scripts, but not the best documentation around options for these configuration parameters, it would be prudent to add some documentation around these options.
