Name Anna T

Describe the problem you'd like to solve Language school teachers are usually only paid for the hours they teach, not including the amount of time spent on writing and preparing their lesson plans, which usually takes the same amount of time or even longer than delivering the lesson. This often makes teachers feel unappreciated and can lead to apathy and lack of interest in the quality of lessons. Although it gets easier with time and experience, it can be difficult and time-consuming to find material, think of activities, warmers and coolers, plan timings, plan groupings, and have games or more activities ready if they finish early. It would be nice to automate this process, so that teachers would only have to do the main thinking bit. A platform that could suggest activity types, count the minutes, help with the groupings, and collect data to then help teachers try activity types they haven't done before, or just to see the statistics of their lessons for possible future problem solving. I am thinking specifically about language teachers, but this could potentially be used by any other teacher or mentor. It would also be nice to have a feature whereby the lesson plan can be converted into slides to present to the class (much like hackmd).
