We need to use the Readme file here to describe briefly what we are doing in terms of metadata with MOD, something like:

“We want to address 2 use cases :

  1. For ontology developers (many people), to provide an application profile to use to describe ontologies (i.e. a source of owl:AnnotationProperty). No constraints on type.
  2. For ontology repository developer (not so many, 4-5 groups), to provide an ontology for ontology metadata (a new OMV) with a new model that reuses, logically converge, and constraints the value of properties. If interested in joining this a collaborative effort: call us

Just created 2 specific sections on the Wiki. Could you guys write a few line here on the 2 use cases supported by MOD (as an application profile i.e., pool of annotation properties) or to implement ontology registry in OWL.

Closing as this is no more relevant. MOD3 does not have the distinction (profile and ontology) anymore. And the description of MOD with MOD provide many info.
