Hotkeys not working on iPad #17

I am unable to use this plugin to create new PDFs on my iPad as the hotkey doesn't work at all, not from the command pallet or by pressing the keys on my iPad keyboard.

I have created a brand new vault with this being the old plugin and I am able to reproduce.

I have no clue why this is happening. image image

That's quite odd, do none of them work, or just the one you have set up? Debugging right now I've seen the command only works if you are focusing on a markdown view (probably should fix that!) I think that's the issue you are facing, Can you confirm the issue doesn't happen if you are on a markdown file, just to confirm it's the same bug?

That is the same bug. It doesn't work when there is no md file open. If a PDF is open or no file at all, it doesn't work at all.

It works for me.

By the way, tip for iPad users: I really recommend to install and use PDFexpert, as it will edit the PDF file on-site instead of creating a new file (as most apps do, e.g. notability). Install it, add it to your 'apps to share to', and the button of this package becomes only one click away form being able to freely hand-draw on a PDF directly on the iOS filesystem. If you use obsidian sync, it then syncs with all your other devices instantaneously.
