Authorized User Story 14 - Upgrade Options should Display if associated with a Parent Item #31

Open ClaireReinken opened 7 years ago

As a authorized use, I want to see upgrade options for the item I selected if there is one.

Acceptance Criteria: The Prototype A resources PDF includes upgrade options, such as speakers or warranties, for certain "parent" items like desktops and laptops. When a user is viewing a laptop or desktop that has associated "child" upgrade option items, these child items should display as suggested purchases below the parent item's product details. The upgrade options should be available to purchase as a standalone item as well.

Our understanding of the requirements is that we can label the options as "Recommended For You" when it is under a parent category, and can be labeled as "Accessories" when it is on its own department.

and can be labeled as "Accessories" when it is on its own department. - I think any "child" item should retain the same category label provided in the Prototype A resources. For example: Standard Desktop Options Upgrades. Lisa is working on the data set now to limit the number of second tier categories (Hardware, software, and services being the top tier), so the label could just be upgrades. The data set should be available by COB 2-15

Just for clarification, top tier will not have the "Options" category? It will be -

Software Hardware Services

To confirm, this is what the Hardware > Desktop section will look like.

Are these recommended upgrades being displayed via radio buttons or through some other means?

Are these recommended upgrades being displayed via radio buttons or through some other means? I envision them displayed below the parent item that would include the image, a view details button, the product name, and discounted price
