Tried to fill fuel doesn't work

Have you tried using an IndustrialCraft Ethanol Fluid Cell? Should always work.

Buckets from your own mod gived in creative doesn't work.

Sorry for my bad English, I sugget you to make a config option for fuel. And for each acceptable fuel, the object given after a right click, null for no item. Example: when using a bucket you retrieve an empty bucket, and when you use a coal you retrieve nothing.

Edit: Don't forget IC2 Classic.

Whitout IC2 or Immersive you can create custom recipes with CraftTweaker but you cannot add fuels.
