APU Can provide lot of thrust :)

Hi,

I made a flight with the 777-200ER and it was perfect. After, I thought about looking how that plane wan handling with like one engine, imbalance, etc etc..

• The first bug I found if it's one : if you turn off all pump, except one, both engine stay ON even if cross feed is OFF.
• Second : I could not fix the imbalance with cross-feed, I needed to go to the fuel ui to fix it.

Now, the most funny of all.

• APU can provide the same thrust as if boot engine was full even if they are off and if the valve near the throttle are OFF. step to reproduce : 1> Start both engine after doing during flight (might work on runway, did not test) 2> Put full throttle and wait until it reached full power. 3> Cut-off the fuel with the switch near the throttle -> now you stay at full power :) If you turn the APU off, you loss all power, if you turn it back on, all the power come back :) without engine! If you manage to start the engine back (the power indicator under the % indicator loop one or two time, but if they reach +-2500 it stop trying to start and come back to 9xx. Usually they start back before reaching 2500 and the situation return to the normal (except if you cut off again when at full power).

Note, during that bug, the actual throttle do nothing, minimum, maximum, it stay at full power.

Also, not related the that bug, it is possible to set the CRS in the plane and not in the UI? I can set the ILS frequency in the FMC but can't set the runway angle without going in the FG frequency UI.

Should not :) But this bug is present in this latest git version. I did not look in the code yet but I suppose that this model use a special state when you apply full power (A kind of vibration sound add up to the engine sound too).

Its is possible that when that state is enabled, It take the APU as a source too (coding mistake?) as from what I was on another model I worked on, APU are actually simulated as a very small engine that cannot provide thrust.

I will take a look on the code this night if I have time.
