@shrenujbansal @jennijuju If we need to get testnet FIL for testing the wallet, here is the wallet to send it to: f1ptuhokomj6n5gttyusxgytlpzt2u6gkck6qvo4i

  • Created FilFox wallet. (from list of supported wallets [here](https://docs.filecoin.io/about/assets/fil-token/ → wallets listed here.) . Saved wallet details in nft.storage 1 password.
  • Followed up with Phillip Karl in PL Slack DM (philip.karl@protocol.ai). Requested 100FIL no later than Monday EOD EST. If I don't have the FIL in the wallet by then, I will buy it and expense. I have a reminder on my calendar so that it doesn't slip through the cracks.
  • Note, landed on 100FIL with @jennijuju

Does filwallet supports private key export or any eth feature, needed to be used for signing messages

elizabeth-griffiths commented 1 year ago

I'm using Filfox, not Filwallet.

Filfox supports private key exports and eth features. I'm assuming it can be used for signing messages, but I'm not 100% positive. https://hc.foxwallet.com/docs/basic/approval https://hc.foxwallet.com/docs/#filecoin-advance

I've asked around for a wallet recommendation but have not been able to find anyone who can recommend one yet, so I evaluated the list here and went for a browser based wallet because that is what I'm most comfortable with. I would have preferred to go with one that is listed as audited, however glif doesn't work on it's own and I didn't want to use a mobile wallet because I'm not confident it will work for what we need.

As long as you can key the PK - we should be all set ✅
