Is this from the newest version of editor? Can you send me the save you're trying to edit?

It's not compiled. I downloaded it on https://www.moddb.com/mods/the-long-dark-save-editor-2/downloads | TLD Save Editor 2.16.1 (v1.67)

My machine environment: win10 Visual Studio Community 2017 .Net Framework v4.0.30319

I think it may be that I lack the running environment. Can you give me some tips?

Clearly you have the running environment if you're able to launch the program. Can you send the save you're editing? According to the stack trace it crashed when you clicked save.

Thanks, seems like story3 is from old version of the game. If you want to edit it you need to load it once in TLD and then save.
