updated all dependenciew to latest version
removed DoubleCheckedLocking rule from checkstyle (see https://github.com/checkstyle/checkstyle/issues/473)
removed RedundantThrows rule from checkstyle (see https://github.com/checkstyle/checkstyle/issues/473)
