Although I proposed a firmware mod to read GameCube discs before, there may be another way. (And firmware mod is impossible). A full-size disc adaptor for minidiscs may be enough. The reason why I am bringing this up again is because I just saw a Redditor show GameCube discs on his/her Wii Family Edition, which otherwise also spits out GameCube discs. He used one of those full-size disc adaptors. So perhaps Nintendont could try to make this trick work on Wii U too?
A while back, I also suggested GameCube-GBA Cable emulation via GBARunner2, as well as microphone emulation. Can anybody help me to make pull requests? I tried to read GitHub's guides, but they seem complicated.
