the bot doesn't come with user account support, it is designed to use bot accounts. however i belive it should be possible, just know that it is against the discords tos, and you may get banned

I would actually like to host the bot on a server that is not a VPS, i.e. there is no way to run WA2DC to sync my Discord server to the bot.

the bot doesn't have to run 7/24, only when you need it. however if you want to keep it running 7/24, you either have to keep your computer open all the time or as you said rent a server and keep it running 7/24. I don't know what you mean by "a server that's not a VPS". If I were to host this bot, the users would have to trust me with their security and privacy, and it would also cost me money to host the bot. I also don't want to take responsibility of people's personal information.
