Joomla recently released a patch for those still on Joomla 3.10 to address security issues. This issue is specifically for 3.10.14 of the ELTS
When installing this patch on a site using flexicontent, once the user goes into the flexicontent dashboard or any field/item forms the language files for Flexicontent will not properly replace placeholder strings with the correct text in the language file.
I believe that the code responsible for this change is in the attached screenshot. Reverting these changes will result in the localization strings being applied properly.
