Large Image objects not showing a thumbnail in the top right corner in the Open Sea Dragon display #60

Some Large Image objects are not showing a thumbnail in the top right corner in the Open Sea Dragon display. In general, this looks to be related to images that are much taller than they are wide, but not always - sometimes they are close to a 3x by 5x ratio.

All examples so far have an original object file that's a .tiff .

For all of them, the thumbnail datastream is there, and when I browse or search in from the collection, I can see the thumbnail. It just doesn't show up in the Open Sea Dragon viewer.

Here are some examples:

https://broward.digital.flvc.org/islandora/object/broward%3A1003/ pic is much taller than it is wide original is a .tiff

https://fsu.digital.flvc.org/islandora/object/fsu%3A405373 pic has pretty much a normal height to width ratio original is a .tiff

https://fau.digital.flvc.org/islandora/object/fau%3A33192 pic is maybe a little tall relative to width, but not by much original is a .tiff

https://islandora-dev.digital.flvc.org/islandora/object/dev%3A1342 (This is one of the FLVC test cases, and so I'm giving the PID on the development server since the one on the production server will likely be deleted and reloaded in the next couple of months when testing the upgrade.) pic has a normal aspect ratio original is a .tiff

https://broward.digital.flvc.org/islandora/object/broward:997 pic is much taller than it is wide original is a .tiff

https://broward.digital.flvc.org/islandora/object/broward:999 pic is much taller than it is wide original is a .tiff

I had thought that Gail put a fix in on this in Spring 2017 on the development server. But, I'm still seeing here https://islandora-dev.digital.flvc.org/islandora/object/dev%3A1342# (this is the test case for Large Image with a picture of a railway bridge arch).
