The DESCRIPTION file needs license, author, title and description #16

Potentially helpful general info at https://choosealicense.com/, R-specific info at https://cran.r-project.org/doc/manuals/R-exts.html#Licensing. I think most R packages use either GPL-2 or GPL-3.

@vliublinska @izahn I updated the DESCRIPTION file, but I'd like to have your feedback before closing this issue. For now, I placed the authors in alphabetic order and I included both of you (and myself) as mainteiners, but I'm not sure if we discussed this part. Also, feel free to recommend any change to the license (I'm no expert about this) and to the description, e.g. looking at other R packages (including bsts and CausalImpact) I guess it should be a short description, but is it clear what the package does?
