Management - do we need a CMDB? What could we use? #3

If we end up with a CMDB, we will host that offsite along with nipap etc.

Are you thinking about something like Netbox?

It seems Netbox is the least shite, yes. c3noc was complaining about slowness, but our deployment is smaller, so...

Yes, we do. @gerryd can help with setting a VM, jail, etc up.

SSC (forgot his GH handle) also suggested we look at TeemIP

for those of us who don't follow the enterprise kool-aid: what's a "CMDB"?

CMDB isn't exactly what we need. We're only really in need of an IP address / resource management system.

We already have Ansible for software configuration.
