Is GPL license appropriate? Suggest LGPL. #6

Using GPL requires all projects that use the template to also license their open hardware under GPL, which may not be appropriate for open hardware. LGPL protects the template but doesn't impose the requirement to use GPL on the project that uses the template.

Creative Commons may be more appropriate for this kind of content in any case.
