Summary

Create a new page on the WordPress site (#57) to show program alums (via FOSSProfiles)

Background

A while back, we wanted to add a new page to the FOSS@MAGIC website to list program alums and show where our alums have gone off to in the professional world. We have the tools to do this (FOSSProfiles), but we need to tinker with it and get it hosted somewhere more permanently.

This can integrate with our existing plans for web infrastructure with the WordPress site. #60 should be completed first.

Details

  1. Generate new HTML from FOSSProfiles
  2. Add as a new page in WordPress
  3. Adjust formatting / styling as needed
  4. Success!

Outcome

Easy to show where FOSS@MAGIC alums have gone out into the field and what they have accomplished after graduation

I ended up doing this without using WordPress. I forked the RITlug/ritlug.github.io project and used it as a base for fossrit.github.io. Let's rebuild our online presence using GitHub Pages.
