The board waits for some time (25s?) for pilot to join a game when it receives join invitation.
Upon timeout, when pilot did not accept the invitation, the board goes to ad-hoc mode and is not able to join anymore until power cycled.
This behaviour can be annoying at times -- one shall be quick to plugin in the battery, stuff all cables inside, close hatch / attach wing, do some basic pre-flight checks and... do not forget and be quick to join the game! Otherwise shall do all over again.
Would be better if the board never times out if it receives join invitation. To reset user have to explicitly power cycle the system.
