I am working with MCP-counter for a microarray data. I read that the p-value generated by MCP-counter tests the null hypothesis that samples are not infiltrated by the corresponding population. The fact that it calculates geometric means as scores makes me wonder how the p value is generated. However I could not find this information from paper or website. Sorry, if I missed it.
