During Belleville there were many matches that the driver station disconnects from FMS or there is some form of in match lag.

A couple ideas...

Brownouts (likely the cause)
The driver station itself, possibly a bad driver or windows change.
USB ethernet dongle, it was mentioned that going through the dongles we're using, it takes a long time to connect to the field.
Robot radio, it is possible that is under performing.

After reading some of https://fms-manual.readthedocs.io/en/latest/fms-whitepaper/fms-whitepaper.html#, it is probably the brownouts causing the actual lag. Power drops too far means the signal will drop too.

The long connection times when first connecting to FMS is more likely to be the DS or the dongle.
