The person scouting should probably be able to add/subtract one note just by hitting a single button* in the app. There should also be 2 sets of these buttons, one for amp scoring and another for speaker scoring.
* they shouldn't need to look down at their phone to add/subtract a note scored, don't want to risk them missing something in the field.
