Brandon says that some program that is required to run the NavX takes up a lot of resources.

Consider offloading the NavX to another processor (Raspberry-Pi). The VMX-Pi comes with this setup all ready.
Only need to transfer the values through some way to the roboRIO (ex. network tables).

Check if this is an improvement, is the latency of networktables communication worth the trade-off of offload processor resources?
