Errors during downloading metadata for repository 'frr':

kmkait commented 3 years ago

Facing same issue, hopefully it gets resolved soon.

idryzhov commented 3 years ago

The repo is temporarily disabled while we are working on a fix for https://github.com/FRRouting/frr/issues/9295.

karlism commented 3 years ago

@idryzhov, wouldn't it be better to just remove FRR 8 from repository than to disable it completely? Unavailability of this repository has quite significant impact on our daily operations as all ansible jobs that rely on yum or dnf in any way are now failing because of this.

idryzhov commented 3 years ago

It seems reasonable. I'll speak to people who maintain the RPM repo.

While not dismissing your concern, I'll note that you would face the same problem if for example your DNS failed. This is a failure case you should be handling.

I just made an attempt to fix the issue. @karlism and @kmkait can you please check if that works ? Note that I enabled frr-6 and frr-7 channels:

https://rpm.frrouting.org/

frr-8 and frr-stable remain offline until #9295 is fixed. If you use frr-stable channel please switch to frr-7 in the meantime.

karlism commented 3 years ago

@Jafaral, thanks, FRR 7.x packages are available now!
