At this point it is optional.

Temperature can add exciting challenge factor to the game. Temperature means player's body temperature affected by local environment. Clothes getting purpose as well as campfires, owen fires, tents. Combining with seasons and illness could create realistic and harsh surviving environment, high challenge factor, exciting game. Easy level is not easy anymore from this point. :)

There is two global event, freezing and heat stroke. Triggered by temperature. Temperature Value is variable, has effect on freezing/heat stroke damage. Measured in celsius degrees. Has default value: 36°C Influenced by environment and local environment as well. Environment: base influence on temp. Day/night/season Day: -2 (very slight hypothermia, 34°C kept but getting effects and damage per 100 ticks) Night: -6 (small hypothermia, 30°C kept but getting effects and damage per 100 ticks) Seasons: Dry: default Rainy: -4 (Day: small hypothermia, 30°C kept but getting effects and damage per 100 ticks) (Night: hypothermia, 26°C kept but getting serious effects and damage per 100 ticks) Warm: +6 (Day: hyerthermia, 40°C kept but getting serious effects and damage per 50 ticks) (Night: no hypo/hyperthermia, normal 36°C kept) Cold: -6 (Day: hypothermia, 28°C kept but getting serious effects and damage per 100 ticks) (Night: freezing, 24°C kept but getting serious effects and damage per 50 ticks)

Local environment: blocks next to player (stone floor is colder than wooden floor), area around player (few blocks, maybe 2-4; garage in flames or cave), clothing on player (1-0, cloth type), illness (fever 1-0).

Tent normalizing temperature, lowering or raising it 2 points. (-4 -> -2 or +4 -> +2) Sleeping bag/small tent normalizing temperature by 1 point. Camp fire raising by 3.

If you wearing clothes, lit a fire and sleeping in a bag in a bigger tent, you can survive a night in cold season. We don't talking now about a night in Novosibirsk or Murmansk, it is not a story about epic heroes :D.
