Could you please provide a few more details on how to use our external SSD with the shared ADS-DV? After we have inserted the SSD into the car, how do we start our software? Will there be an opportunity for us to compile software when the ADS-DV is plugged into the car? Will there be a monitor / keyboard / mouse so that we can boot up Ubuntu etc.?

Each team will be allowed static access to the ADS-DV vehicles in garages on the setup day and in the evenings. During static access you may connect up to the InCarPC however you like. If you wish to use a monitor / keyboard / mouse you can, but they will not be provided. Mains power will be available during static access. Wifi / internet MAY be available but it is NOT guaranteed.

During the Inspection missions and the Dynamic events your software is expected to start automatically. A preparation area will be made available and it will be allowed to plug into the car there, but the starting of the missions in the staging area must not require any external connections. See rules section D2.6. Note that neither mains power nor Wifi / internet will be available in the preparation area.
