@aravindgd, Should the rails server add a timestamp in the notification?

@suriyadeepan Actually we will not be using the current repo format for responding to API requests. So I would love to have a requirements document from which I can write things from scratch for the API. Tell me what you want in general and in specific requirements, I will finish them.
