Describe the bug

I've been wanting to play Direwolf20 1.20 for a long time, but have never been able to install it, as it reports an error immediately after trying to install it.

I've decided to try and get to the bottom of it, so I've reinstalled the FTB App after removing the directory ~/Library/Application Support/.ftba and all of its contents, but still no luck. After the error is raised, I can see a new instance directory (with a random GUID) created, and there are two files in the directory (folder.jpeg and instance.json). - If it's of any relevance, the value of the "modLoader" property in the JSON file is an empty string, whilst this could be intentional, all the other packs I have installed appear to have this property set.

I've not been able to repeat this issue with any other modpack on the FTB launcher (either FTB or Curseforge modpacks), but it consistently fails to install any version of Direwolf20 1.20.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Download and reinstall the FTB App from the FTB web site on a Mac (latest stable version of the OS), or on any version of Mac OS released in the last 6 - 9 months, as I've been trying fairly regularly during this time.
  2. Attempt to install Direwolf20 1.20
  3. The modpack fails to install

Expected behaviour

The modpack should install

Closing this, as despite trying to get this to work for some time, my FTB app just decided to restart without warning, it's updated itself with a fairly significant refresh to the UI, and now the pack installs and runs perfectly.
