Describe the bug

Hello, here are some comments from people on Discord about Stoneblock on the marketplace. Apparently stuff broke on Bedrock and they can't use some special items or blocks anymore, on 1.17:

By Plucky Narwhal on the support channel BEDROCK EDITION. So this question was asked yesterday, but was glazed over. Anyone have any word as to why bonsai, cobble genny, and drills are not working? Hasn't since 1.17 update. Also copper blocks from the forge are still disappearing. TIA

By Nodnarb on the support channel Hey I’m having trouble in stoneblock (bedrock version) with the cobblestone generator not generating cobblestone is this where I ask about it

For the sake of this being already in the files since it's paid content, i'm making the issue for Plucky Narwhal. I'll let them know they can comment here or follow the issue, or you can interact with me for info/once it's fixed so i can relay it to them in any case.

Steps to reproduce

Load up Bedrock Stoneblock and try to use items on the 1.17 version of Minecraft.

Expected behaviour

Blocks and items from the behavior/datapack should function adequately

You can lay the devices, but their inventory remains empty and they don't produce. Pre 1.17 it was noted that copper doesn't work correctly in the forge. You can smelt it to liquid, but castings and blocks disappear when you try to collect. I attempted to build new devices, pickup and replace. Nothing worked for me or my friend

Hey all, as some of you may know, Stoneblock on bedrock is a bit broken, fortunately a bug fix update has been sent off to Microsoft, so its in there hands now.

Here is a list of changes and fixes that were sent to Microsoft

Changelog;

  • Rewrote a few lines of code in the entities to update them to the new 1.17.0 format version as they stopped working.
  • Fixed an issue with the forge not producing copper.
  • Fixed an issue with the miner's helmet not removing night vision.
  • All machines now drop the correct loot.
  • general maintenance.

By JimminyCrkts on the support channel Does BE Stoneblock run into issues with multiplayer? I loaded it onto my realm so that I could play across my pc and switch but both the cobblestone generator and the drill show this entity name, both show their animations and make sounds but neither has produced anything after running for almost 24 hours now..

I see the fix now needs to be applied by Microsoft from that message above, i really appreciate the quick fixes for the users! 💯

Plucky Narwhal commented to us: I guess that makes sense. As to your question. I saw that it was pushed to Microsoft and we are still currently awaiting an update. I just logged on and nothing is working still. Was hoping it would be fixed this Monday, but one more week will hopefully do it. Thanks For reference

I don’t know if this has been addressed with this fix, but the special items and crafting tables did not have hit detection and allow the players to pass through them as opposed to being stopped by them.

Plucky Narwhal commented to us in the support channel: R3GEN following up on the ticket you opened for me. Stoneblock is working correctly on Bedrock again. Drills drill and cobbles cobble. Haven't checked anything else, but there was a download pack and those are working again. Thanks!

So this issue will now be closed, as it looks like Microsoft pushed the update and everything works again. Thanks for the quick update on your side, Squidgyface1478 (Dev of StoneBlock for Minecraft Bedrock).

@VanDangerous This is unrelated to this ticket, I will be closing this since the bug is resolved. If you want to make a suggestion or question the developer about why the special items don't have a collision box, please make a new issue at https://github.com/FTBTeam/FTB-Bedrock-Issues.
