1 year ago we have fixed this issue, we are just waiting for Microsoft to push it.
in the meantime, you can place water next to it, to break it.

What's your issue
Cannot pickup placed forge.
Steps to reproduce
Place forge down. Completely useable. Emptied both smelted ores and lava. Shift click and does not break.
