[Bug]: FTB Quests Displaying Linked Quests from hidden chapters #1188

What issue are you having?

Title, would like to have regular and HM chapters in the same book image

Steps to reproduce

  1. Make a chapter, hide it, add a linked quest
  2. Go to the quest it is linked to
  3. See how you can click on it and access the hidden chapter

I'm not really sure what the issue is here? Why do you need to link to a quest in a hidden chapter? And what would you expect to happen here? Either the link can be followed (as it can now), or it can't be followed (in which case there's no point in creating a link).

We have a progression chapter where you can easily view major points of progression in the pack, and those use linked quests so you can jump to that point in the QB. The pack has two modes, thus two sets of quests. image

Realistically, two questbooks could be made, and be swapped in and out with a script, but having it all in one would making managing it easier.

OK, but what's your proposal here? Having the quest links visible, but not clickable if the primary quest is in a chapter that's hidden from the player?

Basically, the questbook would not display questlinks if the given chapter is in a hidden chapter.

Alongside that, the ability to toggle chapter visibility with gamestages
