[Bug]: random blank spot on map #1337

What issue are you having?

whenever i open the map this large section of it is just blank for some reason and no matter what i do i cant get the map to load this area for some reason. the terrain and world in game is loading just fine but for some reason just refuse to show up on the map. Screenshot 2024-09-14 130505

i just explored until i found the random area that didn't load on map

I have the same issue in Stoneblock 3, After a while what was just a piece of the map that was blank, turned into all the map being blank.

We have a possible fix for this, which will be in the next releases of FTB Chunks for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, coming soon.

I say "possible" because the problem (although reported by a few people) is very hard to track down. I've not been able to reproduce it personally at all so far.
