You can copy the Minecraft vanilla assets to the Twitch assets. This fixed it for me.
The vanilla assets are usually located at %appdata%/.minecraft/assets copy them to twitch/install/assets
You do need to start a vanilla 1.14 client first as that will download the assets.
Thanks! That worked. Maybe. I copied over the assets as you suggested, then loaded the game, but it just crashed on load. Reading through the crash report made me wonder if my java was up to date. It wasn't. Updated java, and now it works with sound.
So, Thanks, again.
Awesome :D
I tried what Naxanria suggested above and still do not have any sound. So to confirm I' copying %appdata%/.minecraft/assets to %appdata%/twitch/install/assets? That is what I did. I even reinstalled the modpack and still no sound. Any help is appreciated.
OK i figured it out. Here is what I did Copy: %appdata%/.minecraft/assets To: C:\Users[User_Name]\Twitch\Minecraft\Install\assets This is based on where I had my Twitch application installed. Afterwards I reinstalled FTB Unstable 1.14.4 and sound is now working.
Yes, needs to go into the Twitch install :D
Naxanria I misunderstood the directions at first. I was looking for the Twitch install assets in the %appdata% folder. 😁
Not much more to say. Installed the pack via the Twitch app, started it up, and the game has no sound.
